The 24 elders
This is an exciting time to live on earth, as God is working with his chosen vessels to fulfill the prophecies in the book of Revelation. God has begun calling, equipping and crowning the 24 elders and until all 24 have joined the group, the work will continue.
We read about the 24 elders in the Bible in Revelation 4:4. “Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads”. The Bible doesn't give us a detailed description of who they are and what their role is. Therefore, unless God himself discloses it to us, we have no way of knowing about the office of the elders.
As we have entered the end times, some of the events that are prophesied in the book of revelation are beginning to get fulfilled. God has begun gathering his team of 24 elders who would usher in God's Kingdom with power and might in the near future. The planet earth and the entire universe will be brought under absolute authority of the Kingdom of God through the obedience of the 24 elders. In light of the imminent fulfillment of the biblical prophecy of the 24 elders, God is willing to reveal to those who are seeking, who the elders are and what their role is during the end times. In this article, I share with you what God has disclosed to me about them.
What is their role?
The 24 men and women that make up the elders are God's bond servants and partners in the universe's governance, who will live during the end times. They have a unique opportunity to work with God in matters that impact the entire universe. As his governance partners, they also have an important role to play in the end time events; God will release his power to fulfil different end time prophecies written in the Bible through them.
For instance, Revelation 1:5 describes Lord Jesus as “the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth”. The 24 elders will bring forth the fulfillment of this prophecy. They are chosen men and women through whom Lord Jesus will establish his authority as the ruler of the kings of the earth and of the entire universe. The power of God's Kingdom in fulfilling the prophecy in Habakkuk 2:14 will flow through them. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea”.
They are like the floodgates of a dam which hold back water under tremendous hydrostatic pressure and releases it with power at high-velocity. As the 24 elders make themselves available as channels of God, mighty kingdom power gets released through them to the universe, accomplishing unprecedented works of God.
How are they equipped?
Like all believers, those who are chosen to be elders also start as spiritual babes. However, their hearts are like the fertile ground where the seed fell, yielding a crop that was thirty, sixty or hundred times what was sown. As they continue to advance in their walk with God, grow into spiritual adolescence and mature into spiritual adulthood, God will enroll them to a training program to equip them with the necessary spiritual capacity to govern the universe and to transform them into cosmic giants.
After being initiated into the training, the elder designates will get elevated to positions of spiritual authority over progressively larger cosmic structures, such as Milkyway, Local Galactic Group, Laniakea Supercluster, Pisces Cetus Supercluster complex and Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall.
As they gain authority over huge cosmic structures, they also develop gigantic spiritual bodies. They will be granted authority over the entire demonic kingdom that operates on Earth. The elder designates have the power to rule, conquer, and repress the demonic kingdom whenever they choose. They are also given permission to release the consuming fire of God upon the demonic kingdom, when neccessary. As their authority and strength continue to expand, they will eventually be given governing authority over the extraterrestrial demonic forces, which operate on planets other than Earth in other regions of the universe.
If the demonic kingdom would retaliate and take over the authority over the planet or the universe, elder designates have authority to dethrone them from the planet and from the entire universe.
They are chosen men and women through whom Lord Jesus will establish his authority as the ruler of the kings of the earth and of the entire universe
How are they crowned?
They are crowned as elders by Lord Jesus, at a time apponted by him. Most elders would undergo months long equipping, would have developed themselves into cosmic giants, and are given authority over the entire universe before they are crowned as an elder. During their coronation, they are given a white robe and a golden crown, are seated on a throne in the heavenly realms and are anointed by God to establish God's Kingdom on the planet earth and in the entire universe.
After their coronation, they gain access to the spiritual realm of universal governance and are empowered by God to release his power to implement kingdom plans on earth and in the entire universe. They are uniquely positioned to carry out tasks that can impact the globe and the entire universe.
How is their life on earth?
The deepest longing and greatest desire of an elder is to be with God and please him. Even though they live on earth, spiritually speaking, they are positioned in the heavenly realms. They feel a stronger belonging to God's Kingdom than planet earth. They are so deeply united with God that they don't have their independent thoughts, emotions and will. They love the Lord so much that they consider it a privilege to think his thoughts rather than their own, they would rather feel his emotions than their own, they would happily make decisions according to his will rather than theirs.
The principle in Luke 12:48 applies to them “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked”. Since they are given very high authority and power, a lot is expected from them. They maintain the highest level of accountability with God.
Since the elders have governing authority over the demonic kingdom, the devil and his kingdom are petrified of them. If the demonic kingdom violates Kingdom protocols, the 24 elders have the right to summon the devil and issue him a restraining order. The devil almost always abides by their orders.
They have access to the spiritual realm of universal governance and are empowered by God to release his power to implement kingdom plans on earth and in the entire universe
A sizable squad of demonic forces and hundreds of demonic mediums are assigned by the devil to assault the elders constantly and keep them on guard. The elders are attacked using secret weapons developed with the greatest degree of demonic corporate intelligence. Even though such weapons are a challenge for the elders, God exposes those high intelligence secret weapons and delivers the elders each time.
While the 24 elders are quite assertive or may even be aggressive with the demonic kingdom, they are soft and humble with people around them. They are individuals with deep spiritual experiences and a deep inner reality, which they do not share with others. Emotionally and spiritually, they may not feel a belonging to any social or religious group and may struggle to fit in because their experiences, exposure and understanding are vastly different from the rest of the world.
They maintain a low social profile. In social gatherings, they come across as ordinary people, carrying out down to earth routine activities. They are people with ordinary careers like a nurse, project manager in a software company or a finance professional in a corporation. The 24 elders are not public figures in the limelight with a fan following. They may not have a YouTube channel with millions of followers. They are also not action heroes or charismatic leaders, planting hundreds of churches or preaching to hundreds of thousands of people or pastoring a mega church.
How are they called?
Because of their high calling, the 24 elders are chosen by God with care. Several decades before they get initiated into months long equipping, each elder is tested and tried through wilderness experiences, trials, tribulations and suffering.
Decades before they are initiated into their office, the elders are on the receiving end of demonic hate since they are called to have dominion over the demonic kingdom. From the moment they begin to mature from spiritual infancy, they are subject to fierce demonic warfare. Before they develop into cosmic giants who can take on the demonic kingdom, they will be on the receiving end of several thousands of demonic attacks and at every step, God will be their protector and deliverer.
The elders are likely to go through several years (if not decades) of rejection, humiliations, isolation, ill-treatment and misunderstandings from their colleagues, family members and even church members. God will watch over them to see their attitudes while they go through trials and tribulations. They will silently bear through all suffering because of their love for God. Just like Joseph, who suffered silently for a few decades, they would also, until God lifts them up to a high position of authority.
Exciting times ahead
This is an exciting time to live on planet earth as God is working with his chosen vessels to fulfill the prophecies of the book of Revelation. God has begun calling, equipping and crowning the 24 elders and until all 24 have joined the group, the work will continue.
In the prophetic timeline, the next significant event that we can look forward to is the global outpouring of the Holy Spirit, prophesied by prophet Joel. God would call, equip and establish a different set of champions to spearhead and fulfill this prophecy. While the 24 elders would provide the spiritual covering for the universe, God will lead us into the global outpouring of the Holy Spirit through a different set of chosen vessels.
